Domestic Violence Anger Management

As I reach the end of my anger management program, I am grateful for the knowledge, awareness, and skills I have acquired throughout the process. I recognize the importance of maintaining these positive changes and continuing to grow in my life and relationships. Therefore, I have developed a maintenance plan to ensure my long-term success and prevent any relapses into unhealthy anger patterns.

Throughout the course of these classes I have learned to communicate with myself and others effectively, self-love and how to weigh my decisions based on better judgement.

Keep voice down when I get upset. Think before I act. Try Negotiation to prevent conflict. Suppress my emotions and transform them into indifference. Emphasize on logic, reason, and the objective assessment. I can be virtuous by acting courageously in a way that produces a good effect. There is no virtue without self-control

The coarse helped me come to realization and really made me reflect on myself. I now am more aware and understanding of the things that trigger me to become angry. I set some boundaries for myself, I cut out some people and replaced them healthier and more supportive people.

After completing the group sessions, I have been able to communicate better with the people in my life and learned to be aware of my body language and my tone when conversing, being more aware of triggers, mine and others It has help me in my day to day life thank you.
